We are ASTONISH, an international collective currently consisting of seven female makers. We met in the misty and magical valley of Idar-Oberstein. Since its foundation Astonish has been a platform for many artists from different backgrounds – from around ten different countries – but with the same language: jewelry.

What is driving us to expose and spread our ideas about jewelry and adornment is our passion for making. Yearly we challenge ourselves with a new topic to inspire us, share ideas and evidently, result in us making. Our last projects were “phases/faces”, "the right one" and "Love Rocks". These topics allow us to imprint our essence and bring about more questions throughout the creative process as well as within the objects made. These long conversations result in new exhibitions.
